Mercury’s portable 9.9 HP outboard motor with electric start and Command Thrust delivers the power, thrust, and control that wider, heavier boats demand. A larger prop increases control, a taller gear case puts the prop deeper below turbulent water for enhanced performance. the Mercury 9.9 outboard engine is an excellent choice for sailboat and trolling/kicker applications. The 103 lb. 9.9 HP Mercury Outboard Motor model 9.9ELH-CT is equipped with a 20 inch long shaft and electric start, Mercury’s multi-function tiller handle, auto ratchet manual tilt, and fuel efficient operation with the reliability that Mercury is known for.
